About the Venue

If Bonnie Prince Charlie’s army had gone a few miles beyond Derby, he could have put up at the New Bath Hotel near Matlock. In the 19th century this part of the country was known as the English Switzerland - and the Peak District is every bit as pretty. Walking in the national park around Matlock is gorgeous. And visit nearby Chatsworth House they have so many treasures, they’ve hung Rembrandts on back staircases in the past! Honestly.

The hotel has an Olympic sized outdoor swimming pool which is open from May until October, and an 18th century natural spa which bubbles up from the earth and is theraputic. There’s a first class sauna, and a tennis court too. All free to you when you stay. There are magnificent gardens and i f you fancy a four poster or a canopied half-tester room , those are on offer too (extra charges may apply).

How to Book 

Purchasing a Gift Voucher  

If your break is for no set date i.e. for a gift or to simply use at a later date then you simply purchase this break. If you require a personalised gift voucher please fill in the relevant details on your purchase. Your voucher and gift voucher (if required) will be sent to you by e-mail within an hour between the hours of 8am – 10pm, 7 days a week. Your voucher will be valid for 12 months and can be used any time subject to availability at the venue.

Purchasing your break for a specific date

To check availability for your break you will need to ring the venue directly advising them you are a spa and hotel break customer.

Please do not however pay the hotel directly. Simply ask the hotel to reserve your room and then return to this web site to purchase your break at the special rate. Your voucher will be sent to you by e-mail within an hour between the hours of 8am – 10pm, 7 days a week.

Late bookings are not a problem just check availability as above.
