The history of the original manor house dates back many centuries. Jane Seymour and Catherine Parr, two
of Henry VIII’s wives stayed in the building in the 16th century and some say that their spirits live on.
The building remained as a privately owned manor house and farm until the 20th century when it was converted
into a hotel. Parts of the original building remain and inside the hotel some of the rooms still boast the intrinsic detail
of the original features.
Dating back to the 16th century, the present manor house has been refurbished and extended to create
a traditional hotel with all the necessities of modern life. The hotel has a wonderful mixture of 44 individually designed
bedrooms, from period old world through to modern contemporary. So which ever room you choose comfort is assured.
The Restaurant and Champagne Bar is set in a relaxed contemporary style mixed with traditional features
and feeling. The present menu has a modern theme, they also offer a lighter menu in the Champagne Bar. The wine list has been
personally sourced to suit every taste. Whether you are staying at the hotel or just passing a first class experience awaits
you.
In the Cwrtium Spa & Leisure you will find calmness and tranquillity. The relaxing atmosphere of
the beauty spa has a varied choice of therapeutic options and treatments. Combine this with a wonderful Roman Spa of warm
waters, steam and heat in tranquil yet spectacular surroundings. For pure luxury and relaxation. The state of the art gymnasium
affords top class fitness equipment with a visual theatre facility to entertain you whilst you work. For those who prefer
the outdoors there are two wonderful floodlit tennis courts set amongst the beautiful manicured gardens.

A recent testimonial from a happy customer:
Mark,
Just a quick note to let you know we had a great time at Cwert Bleddyn. I was not sure
what it would be like, as after booking the break I checked out the hotel on trip advisor and it got a bit of a rough deal.
There was however nothing to worry about, we had a lovely room and good food (I recommend the welsh cheese board - delicious).
In the spa we were treated to a relaxing session – most of the time we had it all to ourselves. A great bargain for £140!
Best wishes,
Tracey.
