About the Venue
In the English Switzerland - The Barcelo Buxton Palace Hotel has been around since 1868. It's magnificent exterior was designed by Henry Currey, architect to the Duke of Devonshire in his time. The interior is equally as exquisite and the Palace's people are all extremely friendly and helpful. This is what ensures guests return here year after year. It’s a much-loved focal point of Buxton’s culture and where everyone wants to stay when they are in town. They used to call this wonderful part of the world The English Switzerland, so immerse yourself in the beautiful scenery, rolling dales and countryside.

How to Book
If you would like to book for a specific date please call us on 0845 652 0909 (local call rate). We will check availability for you. When you are ready to purchase your break, your booking document will be sent to you by e-mail within an hour between the hours of 8am – 10pm, 7 days a week. You will then be required to book your break directly with the venue - full instructions will be given on your booking document. Please note, we do not confirm any reservations.
Purchasing a Gift Voucher
If your break is for no set date i.e. for a gift or to simply use at a later date then you simply purchase this break. If you require a personalised gift voucher please fill in the relevant details on your purchase. Your voucher and gift voucher (if required) will be sent to you by e-mail within an hour between the hours of 8am – 10pm, 7 days a week. Your voucher will be valid for 12 months and can be used any time subject to availability at the venue.
