About the Venue

This elegant Victorian hotel sits majestically in 50 acres on the edge of the English Channel in the historic Cinque Port of Hythe.  

Virtually all of the bedrooms enjoy wonderful views – either over the sea looking towards France, the golf course or our mature and spectacular garden. Choose from double, twin, single rooms or suites, and feature rooms with four poster beds or Jacuzzis.

The Hythe Imperial’s proximity to the Eurotunnel terminal, Channel ports and Eurostar station makes it the ideal location for visiting France as well as the beautiful countryside of Kent – truly still the Garden of England. If you are feeling energetic why not try the hotel’s very own on-site 9 hole 18 tee golf course, although a deceptively challenging course it suits players of different levels of ability. The garden’s herbaceous borders surround a magnificent lawn which is used throughout summer for croquet, putting and bowls.

But it’s not all tame garden, the old orchard and wild meadow area run down to the Napoleonic Military Canal.  For relaxation, nothing beats a seafront stroll, beach time activities will keep all the family happy on holidays and breaks. How to Book  

If you would like to book for a specific date please call us on 0845 652 0909 (local call rate). We will check availability for you. When you are ready to purchase your break, your booking document will be sent to you by e-mail within an hour between the hours of 8am – 10pm, 7 days a week. You will then be required to book your break directly with the venue - full instructions will be given on your booking document. Please note, we do not confirm any reservations.

Purchasing a Gift Voucher

If your break is for no set date i.e. for a gift or to simply use at a later date then you simply purchase this break. If you require a personalised gift voucher please fill in the relevant details on your purchase. Your voucher and gift voucher (if required) will be sent to you by e-mail within an hour between the hours of 8am – 10pm, 7 days a week. Your voucher will be valid for 12 months and can be used any time subject to availability at the venue.
